Villalobos Best BL Starter in July Sunday, August 1st , 2032 An outstanding 6-0 record in July earned Jorge Villalobos the Pitcher of the Month Award in the Boze League. When his name was penciled in to start on the Cincinnati lineup card, it meant trouble for opposing teams. In 41.2 innings of work, Villalobos limited opposing batters to 38 base hits and a .245 batting average. He notched 32 strikeouts, issued 13 walks and had a 3.89 ERA. In 21 starts this season Villalobos has crafted a 13-4 record with a 4.49 ERA. |
