Chang Cracks 3 HR for Spinners
Sunday, July 25th , 2032
Yong-kook Chang of the Spinners won the battle against San Angelo pitching, but lost the war. He hit three out of the park at The Enforcer Grounds, got his name in the league record book, but Lowell came up short in the win column, losing to the Mad Dogs 8-7. The Lowell first baseman was red-hot, the ball just exploded off his bat all day long.

"I don't try to hit homers," he said. "I try to go out there and have good at-bats. If I put a good swing on the ball, then it is going to go out of the park. I didn't try to hit the first one or the second one or the third one. I just try to have good at-bats."

For the game he went 3 for 4 with 5 RBIs and 3 runs scored.

Where does he rank this day in his career? "It's up there," Chang said. "I'll put it up there in the upper echelon, despite the loss."

Yong-kook Chang hit a solo-shot off Shaun Firkins in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Shaun Firkins in the 2nd, walked in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Alexander Ervin in the 9th.

Thus far this season Chang has hit .347 with 14 home runs, 29 RBIs and scored 34 times.
