Pérez Hit String Snapped at 20 Saturday, July 10th , 2032 Lady Luck was not on the side of Luis Pérez or his teammates today at CHS Field. Everything went the way of the Oakwood Thunder, who not only came away with the 10-8 victory over Cincinnati, but also held Pérez hitless in 3 at-bats to put an end to his 20-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Pérez said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." Currently Pérez has 19 home runs and a .320 batting average. |
