20-Game Hitting Streak for Silva Thursday, June 24th , 2032 Emílio Silva's bat has been smoking lately, and it continued today as he went 2-for-4 in a 13-2 Outlook Express triumph over the Springfield Isotopes at The Copperhead Den. The 19-year-old first baseman has now hit safely in 20 consecutive games for the Express. Emílio Silva struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, walked in a run in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and flied out in the 7th.
