Medrano Belts 5 Hits Thursday, June 24th , 2032 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Biloxi's Andrés Medrano made it happen today against the Cardinals. Everything came together at the plate for the 22-year-old center fielder as he collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats -- and led the Pelicans to a 16-8 win at The Lockar Room. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Medrano said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Andrés Medrano grounded out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Ricardo Morín in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
