Season Possibly Over for Ijsbrand Asseldonk Wednesday, June 16th , 2032 Ijsbrand Asseldonk has to call it a season. The Port Huron Flags catcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Omaha Defenders and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Asseldonk was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn anterior cruciate ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 8-9 months. Asseldonk is batting .300 this season in 25 games with no home runs, 9 RBIs and 3 runs scored. He has 21 hits in 70 at-bats. |
