Hit Parade: Jackson Pops 5 Hits Wednesday, June 9th , 2032 It was a parade of hits for Matt Jackson of the Omaha Defenders at Eversource Delivery Charge Field today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Jackson finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Defenders to a 14-6 victory. "Jackson was really good and we were really bad," groaned Orcas manager Mark Buehrle. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Matt Jackson singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Samuel Hardingham in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th.
