Jackson Hits for Cycle Against Oakville Friday, June 4th , 2032 It is rare for players to collect a single, double, triple and home run in one game, so it's a special moment when it happens. Matt Jackson savored such a moment today, going 4-for-5 and hitting for the cycle against the Oakville Yellow Jackets. Unfortunately for Jackson, that was all he could savor, as his Omaha Defenders lost the contest by a score of 10-8. After the game, the right fielder was in no mood to talk about the hitting feat, calling it "pointless trivia." "Nobody cares if I went 0-for-5 or 1-for-5 or 4-for-5," Jackson said. "10-8. That's the only line anyone around here cares about today." Matt Jackson singled in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Stanford Beltrán in the 8th.
