Medrano Boosts Hit Streak to 20 Games Friday, May 28th , 2032 Andrés Medrano ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games today at LaBatt's Blue Park, when he collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Biloxi Pelicans dropped the game, 4-2, to the Niagara Falls Falls. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Medrano said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Andrés Medrano flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. Thus far this year Medrano has hit .359 with 2 home runs and 32 RBIs. |
