Season Over for Wilson Carranza in Springfield
Thursday, May 27th , 2032
Springfield starting pitcher Wilson Carranza could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn labrum. He exited yesterday's Atlantic game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Carranza would be out 5 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."
This year Carranza has posted a 2-1 mark in 0 starts and has a 5.24 ERA.
