Falcons End Palácios's Streak Tuesday, May 25th , 2032 Jorge Palácios of the Cowan Lake Crocodiles came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 4 at-bats for the first time in 20 games. Making matters even worse for the center fielder, Cowan Lake dropped the game to the Raleigh Falcons 4-1. "It was not a good day today," Palácios told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." Palácios is batting at a .310 pace this season, picking up 54 hits in 174 at-bats with 1 home run, 15 RBIs and 30 runs scored. |
