Palácios Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak Monday, May 24th , 2032 Jorge Palácios ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games today at VBL's Best Ballpark, when he collected 2 hits in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Cowan Lake Crocodiles dropped the game, 9-1, to the Carlsbad Surfers. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Palácios said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Jorge Palácios doubled in the 1st, walked in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. Palácios on the season is hitting .318 with 1 home run. His stats include 15 RBIs and 30 runs scored. |
