McDonald Rips Oakwood for 5 Hits Sunday, May 2nd , 2032 It was a parade of hits for Brad McDonald of the Omaha Defenders at Sportman's Park today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, McDonald finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Defenders to a 15-3 victory. "McDonald was really good and we were really bad," groaned Thunder manager Matt Beech. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Brad McDonald singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
