Hit Parade: Hood Gets Cycle Saturday, May 1st , 2032 Today at The Copperhead Den Gene Hood tore up Express pitching, but the Aces still came up empty. Outlook whipped them 12-7, despite his best efforts. The Jackson first baseman hit for the cycle with a 4-for-5 day and collected 3 runs batted in and scored 2 runs -- but to no avail -- his team lost the game anyway. Gene Hood hit a solo-shot off José Salgado in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and hit an RBI triple in the 8th.
