Big Day for Crosby: Swats 5 Hits Wednesday, April 28th , 2032 The Port Huron Flags stopped the Omaha Defenders by a score of 18-11 at Sportman's Park today, with the lion's share of the credit going to first baseman Neil Crosby. The 22-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Crosby said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Crosby did just that in his 6 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Defenders. "Not much that I can say," offered Omaha manager Stan Spencer. "He just hammered the heck out of us." Neil Crosby struck out in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
