Santa Clara won the final game by a 7-4 count to take the series 4-1. The 1777 triumph was no doubt in large part because of the performance of closer José Padilla, who was named MVP of the series. "The only thing that matters is that we're off to the next round and one step closer to a Round 4," he said. The Santa Clara 1777 don't know who they will face in the next round.
