Springfield Out of Playoff Race Friday, September 3rd , 2032 It won't be a season to remember for the Springfield Isotopes, as the club has officially missed out on the playoffs. The Isotopes were mathematically eliminated from qualification today. "With any luck, in a couple years we will look back on the 2032 season as an important stepping stone to a title," said Springfield closer Guillermo Rentería. This is the 5th time in a row that the Isotopes have missed the playoffs.Their last payoff appearance was in 2027. |
