Postseason Bid Ends for Boise Tuesday, September 2nd , 2031 The playoff hopes of the Boise Potatoes have been extinguished for the year. Today, the team was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the 2031 postseason. "It's weird, yesterday we were all talking about what we needed to do to make it to the Round 4 and now we're just counting down the days until the offseason, said Potatoes right fielder Steve Wright. This is the club's 3rd playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2028. In total, the Potatoes have missed the playoffs 41 times in their 50-year history. In the last 10 seasons, the Potatoes have missed the playoffs 8 times. |
