Martínez Blisters Del Mar Monday, June 21st , 2032 The Del Mar Blowfish might think twice next time about pitching to Luis Martínez. At Googleplex today, the Boston Hangovers first baseman burned Del Mar pitching, going 5-for-5 in a 13-11 Boston triumph. "When he's on his game," Boston skipper Andy Sheets told reporters, "he can probably stroke a base hit blindfolded." Luis Martínez walked in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jesús Vázquez in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Jesús Vázquez in the 4th, singled in the 7th, doubled in the 9th and hit an RBI double in the 10th. Martínez is hitting .335 this year with 14 home runs, 49 RBIs and 56 runs scored. He has 81 hits in 242 at-bats, 28 walks and a .408 on-base percentage. Martínez has played in 64 games.
