Time to Go: Fassero to Retire in Norfolk

Jeff Fassero of the Norfolk Tides announced his retirement from International League today. The 42-year-old veteran told reporters that he has enjoyed his time playing ball, but that it is time for someone else to have a shot.
"It's a young man's game," Fassero said, "and I'm not a young man anymore."
Over his career Fassero has put up a 4.33 ERA and fanned 415 hitters in 665 innings. His record stands at 37-40 with no saves.
