3 Home Runs for Estes Tuesday, April 27th , 2032 Some days you can't have it all, as Kentucky Rockets right fielder Ken Estes discovered when he cracked three homers against the Boston Hangovers today, and still lost. "I have mixed emotions about this game," he said. "It's great to hit three homers, but it's hard to be happy when you lose the game." The 22-year-old got his name in the league record books, but the Hangovers walked away with the 8-6 triumph at Pete Rose Field. Estes finished the day with 3 hits in 4 at-bats and 4 RBIs. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," he said in the postgame interview. Ken Estes grounded out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Logan Knox in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Logan Knox in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Malcolm Browning in the 7th and walked in the 9th. To date Estes has chalked up a .325 average with 4 home runs, driven in 13 runs and scored 7 times. |
