Sharkeez Move on to Round 4 Wednesday, October 1st , 2031 The Isla Vista Sharkeez are bound for the Round 4. A 6-3 win over the Indy Rangers at Sportman's Park ended the Round 3, 4-1. "We're not trying to get ahead of ourselves, but it's hard not to get pumped up and excited and think about how this season could end," said Tim Jackson. "This could be the biggest celebration Isla Vista has ever seen if we can win the Round 4." The state of the VBL Double A championship remains in doubt, but the Sharkeez certainly appear to be strong contenders. Jackson was named MVP of the Round 3 after he posted a .478 batting average, while adding 2 home runs, driving in 6 RBI and scoring 3 runs. The Isla Vista Sharkeez will play against the St. Lucie Mets in the next round. St. Lucie won their series against the Lake Diefenbaker Chiefs 4 games to 1.
