Pérez Goes 5-for-6 Against Drexel Monday, July 21st , 2031 It was a parade of hits for Carlos Pérez of the Stamford Sperm Whales at CHS Field today. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Pérez finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Sperm Whales to a 11-5 victory. "Pérez was really good and we were really bad," groaned Blue Raiders manager Carl Everett. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Carlos Pérez doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a solo-shot off Kyung-un Kim in the 4th, singled in the 5th, grounded out in the 6th and singled in the 9th.
