ML Awards Player of the Week Trophy Monday, July 14th , 2031 When it came to hitting the baseball, Jorge Fernández had few peers in the Meares League this past week. The talented third baseman for Canton tagged opposing pitchers for a .667 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 12 hits in 18 at-bats, 2 homers, 3 runs scored and 7 RBIs. Fernández is currently batting .260 with 8 home runs and 30 RBIs. |
