Setback for Kansas City and Alex Benjamin Thursday, July 29th , 2032 Yesterday Kansas City left fielder Alex Benjamin sustained a setback in his recovery from a rotator cuff strain. The Scouts medical staff told him it would be at least 2 weeks before he will be able to return to action. Benjamin told reporters, "The healing process has gone extremely well. This is just a little hiccup and a little setback." Apparently Benjamin worked a little too hard in a recent workout and caused more damage. His doctors have advised him to do only light exercise and give the injury time to heal. So far on the season Benjamin is hitting .337 with 9 home runs, 24 RBIs and 28 runs scored. He has 55 hits and played in 51 games. |
