Hartford's Gill Down with Injury Thursday, June 17th , 2032 When Bill Gill was hurt against the Puerto Rico Tropics, the Hartford Whalers were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 31-year-old starting pitcher suffered bone chips in his elbow throwing a pitch in yesterday's game.
