García Earns AL Rookie of Month Tuesday, June 1st , 2032 Youngster Miguel Angel García emerged as the latest Anderson League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Winnipeg deserved the honor, batting .307 with 6 home runs and 17 RBI. Is the month of May a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let García enjoy the limelight. García is hitting .288 for the season with 13 home runs, 30 RBIs and 32 runs scored. He has 47 hits in 163 at-bats and played in 49 games. |
