More Injury Problems for St. Paul's Avicenna bin Jafar Monday, May 24th , 2032 Just when it looked like Avicenna bin Jafar would soon return to the St. Paul Saints, the right fielder suffered yet another setback in his recovery from a mild calf strain. According to his doctors, treatment was progressing well until yesterday, when bin Jafar experienced quite a bit of pain during a workout. Further examination revealed he had caused more damage and would now be out of action for at least one week. On the season, bin Jafar is batting .263 with 5 home runs and 17 RBIs. He has played in 40 games. |
