Nashville-Winnipeg Trade: Taylor for Pueblo Wednesday, July 31st , 2024 Everybody is overjoyed with a trade consummated today by the Nashville Predators and the Winnipeg Goldeyes. In the deal Nashville got 23-year old minor league CF Carlos Hernández, 21-year old minor league CF Mariano Maldonado, 22-year old minor league LHP Chae-heui Park, 22-year old minor league RHP Armondo Capellari, 28-year old 1B Jorge Pueblo, a 1st round draft pick, a 2nd round draft pick, and a 3rd round draft pick from Winnipeg and dealt 25-year old RF Mike Taylor and 27-year old RHP Ben Parks to the Goldeyes. The general managers that made the swap are happy and the players are happy, too. One of the GMs commented, "This was a good swap for all concerned." So far this season Taylor is batting .336 with 35 home runs, 103 RBIs and 82 runs scored. He has 143 hits in 425 at-bats, 37 walks and a .394 OBP. Taylor has played in 109 games. Pueblo is batting .215 this season in 105 games with 4 home runs, 23 RBIs and 42 runs scored. He has 65 hits in 303 at-bats. |
