Anaheim Devastated by Playoff Elimination Sunday, September 25th , 2005 Coming close doesn't make missing the playoffs easier for the Anaheim Angels. Club manager Mike Scioscia said it's a "tough pill to swallow" as the club has now been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. The Angels are still searching for their first playoff appearance. The team has now missed qualifying for the postseason in each of their 5 seasons in the VBL. |
