The Anaheim starter never let the Virtual Baseball League batters get a foothold against him. For his peerless performance, he came away with an impressive 5-1 record and the Pitcher of the Month award. The talented Angels hurler made 6 starts, worked 47 innings, permitted 27 base hits, and struck out 56 while putting up a 1.72 ERA.
