When Reginald DeLarue stepped onto the baseball field, he meant business. His solid play this year has netted the Pacifica rookie first baseman the Helton League Rookie of the Year for 2017.

Playing in 151 games, he hit for a .290 average with 148 hits, 43 home runs, 130 RBIs and 93 runs scored.

Terry Fullerton of the Oklahoma City Cyclones finished second in voting, while Eric Hardy of the Springfield Isotopes finished third.
