Divisional Wildcard Series Goes the Distance, Kansas City Prevails Saturday, October 4th , 2031 The Kansas City Scouts were paced by a strong offensive output from Kwang-sub Yi as they downed the Bugaboo Creek Caribou 2-1 to win the Divisional Wildcard Series. Kansas City won the final game by a score of 9-8 at The Castle of Kansas City to send themselves off to the League Divisional Series. "I wasn't so much focused on putting up big offensive numbers as I was about ensuring we won the games. So it's mission accomplished there," said first baseman Yi, who was named MVP. For the series, the MVP hit .385 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Kansas City Scouts will play against the South Side Enforcers in the next round. South Side had a bye in the Divisional Wildcard Series.
