Bumgarner Takes PL Pitcher Of The Year Award Wednesday, November 6th, 2019 The hottest hurler in the Prior League this season was Madison Bumgarner of the Toronto Red Birds. He caught the attention of everybody in the league on his way to winning the 2019 PL Pitcher Of The Year Award. Bumgarner starred with an impressive 16-10 record in 39 starts. The Red Birds ace gave up 217 base hits and struck out 221 in 231 innings with a 3.66 ERA. Dave Márquez of the Brooklyn Bats finished second in voting, while Jermaine Perkins of the Toronto Red Birds finished third. |
