PL's Top Hitter Named Thursday, October 1st, 2020 Tim Benton may be much younger than other hitters in the Prior League, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in September to win the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old Shelbyville right fielder hit .347 with 11 home runs, 26 RBIs and 24 runs scored. Benton is batting .310 this season in 158 games with 42 home runs, 112 RBIs and 105 runs scored. He has 187 hits in 603 at-bats. |
