Injury Worsens, Return Delayed For Copperheads Gómez Saturday, September 28th, 2019 The Cumberland Copperheads announced today that right fielder Gregorio Gómez will not be returning as quickly as expected from injury. "There was a bit of a setback, but nothing to be concerned about," one team official told reporters. "Gregorio will probably miss another 4 months because of this, but everyone expects him to make a full recovery." Gregorio Gómez is expected to undergo surgery in Cumberland(Kentucky) tomorrow. So far in 2019 Gómez is batting .296 with 12 home runs, 46 RBIs and 66 runs scored. He has 98 hits in 331 at-bats and a .457 OBP. |
