van Gerrevink 5-for-6 Against West Morris
Even as a kid, Pascal van Gerrevink said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Joe Nathan Field today, van Gerrevink showed how well he learned that lesson.

The 16-year-old second baseman had 5 hits in 6 at-bats for the Huntington Beach Sharks, helping his team knock off the West Morris Wolfpack by a score of 8-4.

"They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did today."

Pascal van Gerrevink singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and doubled in the 9th.

In 12 games van Gerrevink is hitting .373 this season with 19 hits, 2 home runs, 8 RBIs, 5 walks, .448 OBP and has scored 12 runs.
