Tropics Earn 4-3 Win Versus Pantalones
The Puerto Rico Tropics picked up a win at Frontierland Park, knocking off the Pacifica Pantalones, 4-3. Starting pitcher Tyler Mumford played a key role in the triumph. Andrés Rodríguez, now 4-3, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. Earning his 40th save of the year was Miles Dijk.

Royce Lewis, who finished 4th in the AL in triples with 10 last year, aided the Puerto Rico cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh. For the game, the shortstop went 1-4.

"Tyler -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Tropics manager José Delgado. "He was the key to us winning."

With the victory, the Tropics upped their record to 90-68.
