All game long, Border City's Luis Pérez was rattling the walls at CHS Field and banging out base hits against the St. Paul Saints. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Buck$ had a 10-2 victory.
Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 22-year-old first baseman said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this."
Luis Pérez singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Javier Trujillo in the 8th.
