Brand A's Improve to 84-65 with 6-0 Win
|
Daniel Brand A's starter Kawanari Sakiyurai kept the Toronto Red Birds hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-0 win. Blair MacInroy earned the save, his 18th in 24 tries. The victory gives the Brand A's a record of 84-65.
Francisco Mejia, the 27-year old catcher , had a direct impact on the outcome. Mejia contributed a bases-clearing double in the top of the ninth inning to put Daniel up, 6-0.
Sakiyurai attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
