Preston Wilson was a vital contributor to the 8-4 New York victory over San Diego. The Mets right fielder hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Felix Rodriguez closed out the game, earning his 11th save. New York now sits at 23-32, while San Diego falls to 36-19.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Casey told a New York Observer reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
