Buzzards Bang Out 7-5 Win Versus Puerto Rico
The Death Valley Buzzards topped the Puerto Rico Tropics, 7-5, at Hell's Gate. Death Valley shortstop Raúl Salazar banged out 1 single and 2 doubles, while driving in 2 runs. Josh Hader earned the save for Death Valley, his 33rd of the year. The Buzzards, at 76-64, have now won 4 straight.

Death Valley took a 5-3 lead on Noriaki Yamamoto's 10th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Puerto Rico pitcher Andrés Rodríguez in the bottom of the seventh.

Salazar called winning a team effort. "It's not the same guy every time," he said. "It's the sum of the parts."
