Cyclones Use Late-Game Magic to Beat Pantalones, 4-2
The Oklahoma City Cyclones trumped the Pacifica Pantalones, 4-2, at Cyclone Alley. Oklahoma City third baseman Austin Riley was terrific. He went 2 for 4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 and driving in 3. Amedeo Scotti was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 30 of 39 save opportunities. At 65-69, Oklahoma City is in 4th place in the Anderson League Sabathia Division.

Riley had a game-changing double in the bottom of the eighth. On a first pitch fastball from Jeff McGinnity, he banged a 2-run double to center, giving the Cyclones a 3-1 lead. It was the 37th double of the year for Riley.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Riley told the Oklahoma City Bulletin.
