Michael Ehles told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard."

"Not much I can say," offered Ehles in the postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 5 hits for the win?"
