Beckett Now 7-1 After Beating Dodgers
|
The Anaheim Angels picked up a win at Edison International Field, knocking off the Los Angeles Dodgers, 7-2. Starting pitcher Josh Beckett was a big reason why. Anaheim has now won 3 straight, while the Dodgers have lost 5 in a row.
Beckett, the winner, is now 7-1, after putting the clamps on the Los Angeles offense. In 7 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 2 hits, while collecting 10 Ks.
"Got a lot of swings and misses today," said Beckett.
