The Austin BigStars topped the Toronto Red Birds by a score of 8-0. Leading the way was catcher Shusaku Takabayashi. Takabayashi was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 5 for the BigStars. Rick Snow, the winner, improved to 4-0. He held the Red Birds to no runs on 2 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 8 and walking 1.
