Indians Heading to Divisional Round
|
The championship dreams are still alive for the Ketcham Indians, while it's back to the drawing board for the Torrey Pines Falcons.
By a score of 3-0, Ketcham won the decisive game at Vandals Stadium today. The Indians took the series 4-1.
Kasper van der Veen of the Indians was named the Wildcard Round MVP.
"All our guys are really focused winning the High School World Series," van der Veen said. "I'm not too concerned about personal awards."
The Ketcham Indians will play against the Lee's Summit Tigers in the next round. Lee's Summit won their series against the Sacred Heart Cathedral Fightin' Irish 4 games to 1. The Divisional Round schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Round finishes.
