Sharkeez Heading to Round 3
After their 4-1 win today at Eversource Delivery Charge Field over the Stamford Sperm Whales, the Isla Vista Sharkeez will advance to the Round 3. Isla Vista won the series by a 4-0 margin.

Leading the way for the Sharkeez was right fielder Jorge Hinojosa, who had a spectacular series and was named MVP.

"I don't play differently in the regular season or playoffs. I just go out and do my best every game," he said. "It's certainly nice to play in the big game, but you can't let it get to your head and change your focus."

The Isla Vista Sharkeez don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Wrigleyville Cursed Billy Goats - Stacy Bay Hawks series. Stacy leads the series 3 games to 0. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes.
