Giants Take Down Cubs, 10-6
|
The San Francisco Giants grabbed a win, 10-6, over the Chicago Cubs in 12 innings at Wrigley Field. San Francisco left fielder Shin-Soo Choo hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. With the win, the Giants sit at 80-65.
The game was all tied up in the top of the 12th, until Choo delivered big-time for San Francisco, stroking a dramatic 3-run home run off Will Ohman. The game-changing hit put the Giants on top, 9-6.
"That was your kind of game, if you like high drama," said Giants manager Dusty Baker.
