The home crowd had a good time watching the Pacifica Pantalones and Puerto Rico Tropics get after it.

The Puerto Rico Tropics topped the Pacifica Pantalones by the score of 7-1, with the largest share of the credit going to shortstop Royce Lewis. Lewis went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2 for the Tropics. The winning pitcher was Carlos Marín. He's now 11-9. He went 6 innings, allowing 1 run on 7 hits for the Tropics. Andrés Rodríguez got credit for the save for Puerto Rico. It was his 5th of the year.

Puerto Rico grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Lewis, who finished 4th in the AL in runs with 119 in 2028, hit a solo home run. His 4th home run of the season put the Tropics out in front, 2-1.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Lewis.

With the win, Puerto Rico upped its record to 66-55.
